Сказки И Мультики (Stories and Cartoons)
This project was part of an assignment where students were challenged to conceptualize and design their own original festival or event. I created Сказки И Мультики (translated as Stories and Cartoons), a festival that celebrates Soviet-era children’s storybooks and animated films. The concept is rooted in nostalgia and cultural heritage, aiming to bring together fans of classic Soviet animation and literature through a vibrant, immersive experience. The deliverables for this project included a range of branded materials: an informational brochure, a set of themed buttons, posters for guest speakers, a general promotional poster, and a website mockup to showcase the event's aesthetic and programming.
The festival experience is designed to be both educational and entertaining. Attendees can enjoy talks from guest speakers who share insights and stories about beloved childhood books and cartoons, as well as attend screenings of iconic animated films. The event also features interactive elements such as a meet-and-greet area and a media swap and shop, where guests can trade or purchase vintage merchandise, books, and other memorabilia. The overall goal of the festival is to create a space for intergenerational connection, cultural appreciation, and the rediscovery of timeless stories that continue to resonate with audiences today.
